Book of Santa is Endorphina's Christmas take on the book slot, released in December 2019. If you've played a book game before, the format is familiar: 5 reels, 3 rows, 10 paylines and a free spins round built around one expanding symbol.
The book does two jobs
The book is both the scatter and the wild. On the reels it stands in for other symbols to complete lines. Three or more anywhere on the screen start the free spins.
Free spins with an expanding symbol
The round gives 10 free spins. Before they start, one special symbol is chosen at random. Whenever it lands during the spins, it expands to fill its whole reel, so two or three scattered hits can become full reels paying across the lines.
Gamble and other details
After a win you can gamble it or collect. There's no bonus buy and no jackpot. The published RTP is 96%. Playing a few dozen demo spins is the simplest way to get a feel for how long the gaps between free spins run.
A Christmas slot for any month
The theme is seasonal, but nothing in the rules depends on it. It plays exactly the same in July as in December.
